Participating Schools

The Salt Lake Valley Science & Engineering Fair is designed for elementary school students in grades 5 and 6, middle schools (7-8) and high schools (9-12) in the following school districts:

• Salt Lake
• Granite
• Murray
• Park City
• Tooele
• Salt Lake Valley Catholic Diocese
• Students in charter and private schools in those regions are encouraged to participate.

Utah's Four Regional Science Fairs

Ritchey Science & Engineering Fair:

Schools in the Box Edler, Cache, Dagget, Davis, Logan, Morgan, North Summit, Ogden, Rich, South Summit and Weber School Districts.

Salt Lake Valley Science and Engineering Fair:

Schools in the Granite, Murray, Salt Lake, Park City and Tooele School Districts and the Salt Lake Valley Catholic Diocese.

Central Science and Engineering Fair:

Schools in the Alpine, Jordan, Nebo, Provo and Wasatch School Districts.

Southern Utah Science and Engineering Fair:

Schools in the Beaver, Carbon, Duschense, Emery, Garfield, Grand, Iron, Juab, Kane, Millard, North Sanpete, Piute, San Juan, Sevier, South Sanpete, Tintic, Uintah, Washington, and Wayne School Districts.
